Saturday Morning

Sometimes he thinks of her, of them. Of what could have been.
Sometimes it’s all he thinks about…
He can feel the weight of their lives in a single step forward.
And he is enchanted by the beauty of small things:
hot coffee,
wind through an open window,
the tapping of rain,
a passing bicycle…

  6. Ha, that’s fantastic – but as Sawsan just said, it comes at a price!!! 🙂 🙂
We had, so far, a super busy Saturday – it’s nearly 4pm now and in a minute I shall go and cook up a storm! We only had a cup of tea, so much to do, some shopping, washing, hanging etc etc – and NOW we’re have the Mother of all Brunches. No rain either, but glorious sunshine. And we shall think of all our dear ones, families, children, friends far and near – it will be a good Saturday Afternoon.
