Wonderful a fistful of snow in the mouths
of men suffering summer heat
Wonderful the spring winds
for mariners who long to set sail
And more wonderful still the single sheet
over two lovers on a bed.
I like quoting ancient verses when the occasion is apt. I remember most of what I hear, and I listen all day but sometimes I do not know how to fit everything together. When this happens I cling to words or phrases which seem to ring true.

Exactly! And how sad John Berger died too… I love to read him. Thank you dear Dave, have a nice day and a new week, Love, nia
Sawsan just introduced me to Berger. Nia, what talent he had.
There is book father and daughter wrote together, Titian: Nymph and Shepherd (with Katya Berger)… Actually I read all his books, but this one what I loved more. I am sure you like too.
Thank you Nia. I’m off to check it out.
I can almost hear him recite it with his thick voice and lilt.
Yes. In his unique cadence
So unique to me personally. My father looks, acts, talks and sounds exactly like him.
Amazing, right?!
Thank you for sharing this…beautiful.
It is! Thank you….
