It’s not you.
It’s anyone.
Sometimes I don’t want anyone around.
Some afternoons I lie on my bed and
the light comes through the shutters on the floor and
I think I never want to leave my own room.

I know this feeling very well …..
Good sister. Good.
Years ago…this was sad. Today…vital.
Crucial! Yes.
Love when I can do this too!
Me too!
what a perfect match for my blog today and i get it )
I’m heading over now. 🙂
Can so relate to this.
Smiling, so many of us can…
Sitting here healing from surgery with these same thoughts…
I understand. I hope recovery is going well…
Me too. And Sunday mornings. And Monday mornings….etc. etc.
Ha! So true.
this post makes me long…in joyful anticipation… for the warmth of late spring days, summer mornings, afternoon, evenings and fall days out on the garden bed…or laying on a blanket on the grass with the cookie eating pup between the tiny, one room log cabin from another time and the beaver & trout filled creek that meanders through the expansive ranch where fire flies glow and the sun sets, back lighting the mountains across the ranch lands and prairie fields of wildflowers where the deer, antelope, snakes, rabbits, etc and owls, herons, sand-hill cranes and other birds find refuge in the cottonwoods and ponds…ah the gift of eyesight, hearing and peaceful freedom of breathing, in harmony under the far-stretching sky….solitude abounds…
Oh, Yes. All of that!
