To all of you my comments may seem very negative but everything I say is true.
Paris is a nice city to visit. It is old, picturesque and expensive. It has many museums and art galleries with famous names. My experience there was horrible so I have no good memories. I was a victim of a brutal attack in a taxi on the highway from the airport to the city, only 20 minutes from arrival. Everything I had was stolen from me, including money, IDs, train and return plane ticket. This city of dreams turned out to be a nightmare. While forced to stay to replace IDs and plane ticket, I had time to visit family, tour important sites and the beautiful countryside. Some impressive and some ugly. Frankly.. our Art Galleries throughout this country carry the most beautiful art collections in the world and our museums and temples are unique. Cities like San Francisco, Washington, D.C., in Virginia, Boston and others in New England are very beautiful and historic. We also have good bread here/everywhere. We all need to visit and admire our own treasures at home. You will be very pleasantly surprised.

never experience a nightmare like mine.
