Me, too.
P.s., I’m receiving your emails again. Thank you for whatever you did. Not getting them in my inbox was like opening the door in the morning and not finding the paper.
Awwwww, how kind, thank you Carolann.
“…careless consumption of enjoyment…” a laudable goal, I’d say. Loved this, David (adored the timbre of the narrator’s voice). And I think Carolann’s comment is delightful, too. 🙂 Happy Thursday! 🙂
🙂 Yes, Lori, the narrator’s voice is what hooked me from “go.”

“The long way home” ……
Question …. how do you “embed” the videos on Vimeo? One has to be a member?
Thank you!!!
If I understand your question, you are asking how you post your own videos on Vimeo. Sorry, don’t know. I’ve never done it. If you are asking how to post/embed Vimeo video’s on a WordPress post, it’s as simple as copying the URL for the video, and pasting it in “text” view of your blog post. Does this help?
No. my question is … how you get the vimeo video on your post?
I’ve tried but don’t know how … and then it takes me to:
login and password. That’s why I wondered about the need to have a vimeo account.
TY!!! 🙂
This sure helps … it’s just like embedding YouTube.
Glad to have helped. I’ve had a lot of practice and making mistakes to get it right. (And some good coaching from mentors like Todd LoHenry)
Yes…we pass this way only once…and hopefully, it will be savored with “the long way home.”
Yes.
Very thought provoking. Never thought of it this way, but suspect you are right.
It was thought provoking. I was spell bound watching this clip.

This lovely little ode to adventure and seeking the new and different makes me want to walk out the door and just keep going …
It does John. It does exactly that. Thanks for sharing.
Those who live a life of quiet desperation (I forgot who said that)…I’m with you …savor, relish, stroll…the long way. Great video..
Again, you nailed it.
“Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.”
― Henry David Thoreau (1854)
Laughing – I didn’t nail it – Thoreau did.
life is short enough, no need to take the shortcut.
🙂 Yes…
These are things I ponder a lot, sometimes wondering whether I’ve already used all the steps, done it, seen it, sung it, and sometimes finding myself busy observing life rather than living. Not easy to make sense of life. Nice video and quotes, thanks.
Thanks Tiny. I ponder similarly.
Amazing video and thoughts. We only get one shot at this life here on earth. The older I get, the more I realise this.
Me too Sylvia. Me too.
Thanks for this! Really made my day today 🙂
Terrific, thanks for letting me know.
