Here’s the “Meaning of Life.” ~9,000,000 people have watched this video in the past 2 weeks and seem to agree. I’m one of them. I was moved by this short film. (Be sure to check out Ana’s wonderful blog. She’s from Portugal. Her blog’s name is “Sol de Dezembro” (“December Sun”).

I’m in tears – it’s too early. I’m guilty of forgetting this – happily not very often.
🙂 We should all re-run this every morning to start the day.
Is there anything more magnificent than giving joy – it’s a rhetorical question.
Luke 6:38
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Do you have these perfect quotes at your fingertips? Have you memorized the Bible and all else that you have read that you value? Tell me sensai, how the hell do you do this?? I struggle to pull words that will suffice in a questionably constructed sentence – and you respond in seconds with perfect quotes? Sigh..
Pleasssssssse. My little Buddha, you are out of the gate each morning with your genius filling my comment pages – kicking of the waterfall for others. We can only aspire to look up to the Karma Truck.
Thank you for the reblog and, above all, your kind words about my blog. You are very kind.
For the first time I’ve read your “about” page and you made me smile. Love that spirit you share.
And that’s a very good idea to “re-run this every morning to start the day”, although I don’t think I have enough tears im my eyes to do that!
Have a wonderful day and a magnificent life!
Hugs from Portugal!
Hi Ana! Thanks for your note and for your share. You have spread so much warmth with your post!
Got the waterworks going this morning. Beautiful.

Gorgeous share that brought tears.
Thank you, as always, and take care, too.
Thank you B*
[…] to be left unshared amongst dear friends here. I am absolutely thankful for David Kanigan’s reblog of Ana’s sweet share (over at her Sol de Dezembro) and the inspiration lent by this […]
Nice to know there are people like that in the world. Hopefully, there will be a few more now.
Yes Anneli…
Beautiful and restorative way to start this day with too much stacked up on it. smiling now..and that smile will just be part of this day. Thank you David.
Thanks Bonnie. I felt the same way after watching this clip (twice)
Shared this with a guy friend of mine…I apparently made him cry…well, technically, you did. Beautiful. I had my son with me and watch last night too, as part of his homework.
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing Bonnie.
