What still pulls on your soul?

What in your life is calling you,
when all the noise is silenced,
the meetings adjourned,
the lists laid aside,
and the wild iris blooms by itself
in the dark forest,
what still pulls on your soul?

      1. (and to be clear, love is what pulls on my soul) what you give, you take, you make and you leave behind – most important.

  1. There is something pulling at my soul, although it might just revolve around hope rather than reality. The fact that my dog would follow me into that dark forest and stay at my side, just because she loves and trusts me, is enough for now.

  2. I know I’m late on this one. It has stuck with me since I read it. I have so many random encounters with people I’ll never see again. Sometimes they touch me in beautiful ways. I wonder how I’ve touched people.
