Become the sky
Take an axe to the prison wall
Escape
Walk out
like someone suddenly born into color.

“born into colour” – I like that, much.
This is a beautiful picture. I love red.
Thank you. I’m with you…
to see color is life is to feel all it’s hues.
Yes!
Nice! I love Rumi!! (Wrong shoes tho — unless she took a break from a work-a-day day?)
Yes Frank. I noticed the shoes were “off” with the Rumi poem and rest of the pic. Chose to roll with it anyway.
Of course – why not? Just makes it a bit more interesting!
Of course it does!
Nice words…but, really, is this a high heel advertisement??? What is that woman doing stomping around a hillside in those shoes? She obviously loves her shoes…because she ends up with her legs against the tree…and appears to be dreaming of…what?…more shoes??? 🙂
ahhhh, I figured the heels would set some off. If I knew how to photoshop them out, I would have done so. Sorry.
It’s okay…Rumi’s words are beautiful. 🙂
🙂 I’ll need to remember to align image (esp shoes) to poem. Major miss. 🙂
no worries about the shoes on my behalf, clothing and decoration are just the trappings and distractions – it’s what’s inside that matters.
So true.
I was just teasing you! You should delete all of my comments…because very few people will notice the shoes, I am sure. It is a nice photo too…capturing the colors of the season. Like ksbeth says as she jumped to your defense…it’s what inside that matters. 🙂
Laughing. Thank goodness that Beth comes to my defense.
Pretty colours but I think it would make a hilarious video clip to see her trying to walk on anything but pavement in those heels.
(Note to self: the heels are a major distraction. :))
Amazing – I should have that written on my the walls of every room, a mantra for life!!! 😀
Me too!
i was about to comment on the shoes – but it’s been done
does that mean we’re all just shallow?
YES!
Stunning photo! Love the quote. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia. Me too…
Beautiful colors, beautiful poem and beautiful shoes! Why can’t those three live in harmony?
They can for some of us Carol! 🙂
Rumi is my man.
“Your” man and “The Man” 🙂
