That was simply beautiful…I love Oregon. I lived there when I was a brand new mom…with my first child many years ago. Thanks for bringing back memories of a happy time. 🙂
It is beautiful Carol. You’re lucky to have lived and spent time there….
I could just ride the waves…. Is that the Haystack on the background?
Yes, the shots give you a sense of floating on waves. Haystack? Have you hit the tot-ties early?
No, 😆 I haven’t had dinner yet. Haystack is the name of that one protruding rock in Oregon coast.
Oh, how embarrassing. Had no idea.
Haven’t been. One for the bucket list!
Me too.
Incredible! Someday I’ll get to Oregon.
It is incredible Susan.
“Beautiful” seems so inadequate.
It really does.
Hah! This is one of my favorite places on the Oregon coast. Spent last weekend there camping, hiking and celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Yes, the precise name of the beach is Cape Kiwanda and the rock is Haystack rock. Thanks for posting David!
Debra
How lucky are you Debra. Incredible natural beauty here…
The light is incredible! I so want to go there.. yet.. so like my home.. that could have been my son surfing in Mount Maunganui… it took me right back there, standing in the water, waiting my turn on the surfboard as my son took to the waves… thank you more than I can say..
It is incredible Makere. I’m with you.
Lovely music.
I thought so too Chrisstov
Wonder if they have room for one more resident? Lovely. Drove up the Pacific coast from San Francisco to Seattle once–a GREAT trip and a treasured memory. Get thee to the West, pal, you’d love it! 🙂
What a great ride that must have been. Must do that Lori. Bucket list.

Thanks for sharing Todd
A friend of mine recently moved to Oregon from San Jose…I’m planning a visit to her new home in the fall and can’t wait. Now I know why she feels she and her husband have found a piece of heaven..
Yes, it does look like a slice of heaven. What a trip that will be Mimi.
I stayed in a rented house on that beach a few years ago with some of my best girlfriends. The day we arrived, it was so foggy, Haystack was invisible. The next morning, one of my friends looked at the window and asked, “where’d that rock come from?”. Lol! Thanks for the memories, David. Breathtaking!
🙂 We need to go. Period.
Amazing. I’ll combine with my Alaska trip (one day)
Me too Michael. Me too.
thank you

The sound of waves always takes my breathe away. Simply beautiful.
