We’re sticking with the flash mob theme, riding the community spirit, the family, and the wholesomeness train – – until we drive the darkness completely out. This clip, now seen by over 8 million on Youtube, is performed by 100 musicians and choir members from the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs. They play the final movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in the town square of Sabadell, Spain. Just check out the faces and the joy this event brings to the performers and the audience. Good Sunday morning to you.
Thank you Michael for sharing this wonderful piece. Happy Holiday to you and your family.
I was also reminded that today is Beethoven’s birthday (1770).
I posted this a while back and it never fails to fill me with joy…Joy for this Sunday, community to lift the heart, music to remind us we do speak a universal language. Perfect.
You posted it and I missed it. Wow. I’m stealing your ideas and content and not giving you any credit (and not even knowing it). Shameful.
For the record, “All” of your other posts are so good and so etched in my memory, this omission would never happen again.
Hardly – I prefer to think that we share a certain aesthetic which is very cool.
We’re going with that!
What a wonderful way to start a Sunday morning. I had seen this featured on TV awhile ago and enjoy it each time I see and hear it.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks Francine. There is some benefit for me as I don’t watch a lot of TV, all of these is brand new for me even though it is months (years) old. Yes, this is inspirational.
Well I missed this completely. Loved it. The boy dancing and directing was precious. His face says it all……Joyful!
Me too…
Thanks Dave. Maybe if you’d posted that while I still worked at Sabadell I would have stayed a little longer 😉
Hey Roberto. I’m absolutely certain that would have happened. 🙂 Happy holidays to you and your family. Dave
I love these. I posted one on Facebook this morning that I post every year at this time. Yes, I love these “happiness makers.” 🙂
Thanks Carol. I found your link. Wonderful clip. Here it is for others to check out if they are interested: http://youtu.be/gww9_S4PNV0
Music has a way of lifting up one’s soul, doesn’t it? Beautiful.
Yes, it does. Especially in this type of venue/setting.

That was beautiful!
It was!
Good for you, Dave… We must be reminded of all the wonderful things that happen…. There is so much good in the world… and must never be forgotten.
Thanks Carolyn. Yes, we just have to keep finding the mind…I agree.
Thanks David. Your posts lighten the daily load and inspire me. Keep it up
Thanks for the kind words Michael. This clip is all your share. Keep feeding the train…:)
Stop and listen to the music—thank you for the reminder! I love that so many in the crowd knew words to sing along! Thank you again.
Yes, the crowd reaction is always equal to the music in these types of clips. Loved it too…
Awesome.
I thought so too Alex…
