Snoopy at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City…three million are expected to watch the parade live with another 50 million on television. Snoopy, of course, is the star attraction. Start time: 9am EST.
Source: URBAN AGENDA New York City, Holiday 2012. Thank you my Susan for sharing.

I will be one of the millions watching (and the dog show afterwards)…For me, Snoopy the Flying Ace is the main event (all the new ones pale in comparison – Papa Smurf, really?). Enjoy the spendor
Me too…Dog show is today?
Yup – not Westminster, but there’s always one of the big dog shows right after the parade (on channel 4). And like the mature, sensible adult that I am, I sit there pointing and saying, “I want that one, and that one…oh, and that one too…Look! let’s get that one”..
I’m watching too…amazing dogs.
Happy Thanksgiving, David!!!
🙂
Thank you Marina

Dontcha just love simple things that make you feel the sheer exuberance of childhood? This parade never fails to take me back to my younger days…. 🙂
Yes, and the same warm reaction each time you see it…
Happy Thanksgiving to all…I’m “thankful” for a list of chores to complete today….but will have the parade on in the background…

Happy late Thanksgiving! Okay, I was two months late with this comment. I am catching up on a backlog of blog posts and seem to hit the Thanksgiving day blog posts.
