My first thought on waking this morning, was “It’s September 11th.” It was a very emotional time for me, and I’m not even American. My son works in Manhattan, and I was so thankful when he eventually managed to get a message through to say that he was safe.

I remember it well. We thought a plane was headed towards Pittsburgh and at the time I was I was working in a high rise building. We were evacuated. I will never forget 9/11 and the lost of so many lives. God Bless our troops who continue to keep us safe.
