Me too Laurie (Saramago fan). I’ve read most of his books. They can definitely be a slog if you are new to his style but his imagery is something special.

Your posts are always somewhat humbling, Dave! I’m with Lori here – I haven’t read one of these – although Confederacy of Dunces has been on my list of books-to-read for years. Maybe now I’ll get to it.

Congratulations dear David. This is wonderful post. Makes me excited always “books…” The photograph is so beautiful, I loved it too.
