This is kind of scary. Male lions eat cubs more often than not.
I didn’t know that. OMG. I just had the entire Disney moment erased!
They don’t attack their own cubs… but often, when they take a lioness that has little ones from another lion, they have been known to kill those cubs, in order to get on with life. Nature is often crueler than we would like to be.
