Yes, it’s very beautiful there. If you took all the people away, it would still be so pristine. Very natural for the most part. But don’t be fooled by the lure of the beaches. That water is like ice even in July or August. Great beach walks though.
I’ve never been to this park Anneli…and I bet it’s both beautiful and water is ice cold…
I was there in 1973, free as a bird (probably a seagull), and had a wonderful time camping on the beach. I went back there a couple of years ago and cried at the lack of beach access unless you forked out $10.00 to park even for a few minutes. It was wall-to-wall people and no camping allowed. The romance of the place was gone. You can’t even park at the side of the road and take a quick run down to the beach for a look. It was ruined for me.
OMG…well let me bask in the 1973 version. 🙂
Really cool pics.
Yes, Daniel, he’s very talented…
So beautiful – the photos and pretty much the entire province. Just arrived on Vancouver Island a couple of hours ago. Doesn’t matter how many times I’m here – it’s always fabulous.
And we were up in Pacific Rim park a few years ago – had a GREAT experience (Anneli must have hit it at a bad time).
Wish I could take photos like that….
Glad to hear this LaDona…and yes, Darren is very talented…

Agree! I remember Victoria having beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean just next to the 0 mile mark!
