Antoine de Saint-Exupery (June, 1900 – July, 1944) was an aristocrat French Writer, poet and pioneering aviator. Laureate of several of France’s highest literary awards and also winner of the U.S. National Book Award.

  1. My initial reaction – I loved the quote especially paired with the painting (you have an incredible knack for that, Dave).
    Not sure about the heart thing, though – it has led me astray more than once.
    The part about what is essential being invisible to the eye – yes, definitely.

  2. That quote is is the first line of every journal I have kept. My copy of “The Little Prince” is worn and yellowed and frayed and perfect.
