Years ago, I attended a conference at Dana Point, CA and ran on a beach that looked strikingly similar to this photo. I was listening to “Chill” music provided by the hotel. I don’t remember much about the conference. But, this image of the ocean, the waves crashing on the shoreline, the overcast skies, and this song remain indelibly present with me.
Here’s Rachel Lloyd singing “Breather 2000” from the album called Chill – Dana Point.

I’ve never heard Rachel Lloyd before – what a perfect accompaniment to the beach.. I know Dana Point well – many a firm meeting held there..I guess that means I know the Coronado Beach Hotel..for I never got the chance to enjoy the beach as much as I am now via your post.

Mmmmm….I’m imagining myself sitting out on a beautiful patio overlooking the water, the sun is setting, there’s a luscious aroma wafting from the fire pit, and my honey has just leaned over and kissed the top of my head as he handed me a snifter of Courvoisier. Ahhh….

I can see all of that…as you would say, “evocative.” (I had to work that in)
