Thankful Sunday…

thankful

FOR:

  • My Health: I can walk.  I can run.  (Do I? No.  But I can.)
  • My Son: Despite a $300 bill for car repair after Friday night with friends. (“God Grant Me Patience”)
  • My Followers: Each Follower. Each “LIKE.” Each re-blog. Each Comment. This new community.
  • My Eyes: I can read.  Oh, do I love to read…with the ferocity of a dog on bone.
  • My Ears: I can hear.  This morning’s music. Sade. Baker. Krall.  Mayer.  All take me peacefully away.
  • My Dog: Tail wagging. Happy – always happy.
  • My Warm Days: And gentle April breezes.
  • My Peace: Finding inner peace. Setting aside anger, the rush, the chase. Set it aside pal. Do it. For today.

  1. Thank you for sharing and thank you for creating a platform for me to say, Today I am thankful for my friends. Without them, I would not have a roof over my head, (sometimes) food to eat and most importantly a smile on my heart that makes me believe everything will be okay. 🙂

    Happy Sunday to you!

  3. Great post David. There are so many things to be thankful for the list could go on. I am thankful for opportunity. The opportunity to get up every day and be surrounded with blessings from a great family to great friends and all the possibilities that every day bring. Have a great week everyone.

  4. This post is inspiring! It is always good to be thankful for the great things and people in our lives. I think that I will also post a blog about things that I am thankful for. I have been uninspired of late, but this blog helps. Thanks!

  5. Your blog makes me think, David, in a good way. Thank you for that. I am thankful for many things but I guess most of all I am thankful for my nieces and nephews who give their love unconditionally. And I am thankful for my hands, to make music.
