The days were quiet.
They’re still here. I never thought they’d last.

That there would come a time when these days would be looked back on as happiness: all that life could give of contentment and peace…
It still feels like we just live here, day to day.

We all know it full well, but can’t even whisper it…

I wish someone had taught me (many years ago), that an average day is indeed, a wonderful day.
Our culture brainwashes us into believing that to be happy our day must be filled with fireworks, walks on the beach, and parties.
I wish I had been taught that simply being vertical and in acceptable health, plus getting some sort of satisfaction from “an average day”… is a major success.

I confess: my thought while watching the trailer was that an “average” day in such breathtaking scenery might be easier to feel contented with… And then I realised the point. Thanks for sharing DK, I obviously needed this reminder, and I’m looking forward to watching the film.
