As to the Video, smartphone’s have a video feature called “Time Lapse” – I set up my smartphone on a mini-tripod, hit go, and walk around the park for 2 hours! That’s about it! Here’s a simple video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5J2hIDHr3uU
And yes, I tuck it among the rocks where it wouldn’t be visible (or stolen) and check in on it periodically.

What a sensational time lapse. I only saw b&w, then the scenery got streaked and blew up in orange and golden light…. wonderful, and I especially loved the racing ducks! 😉
We have quite spectacular sundowns here too – and with a true white Christmas and New Year (biting cold and little sun – but holding the snow crisp and fresh) we have little to complain about.
