It looks, to me, like a worthwhile film. And it has Joanna Lumley in it, a winner in my books. She plays the villain so well – and has proven herself a great actress . She beats us with her soft voice and a steel heart before. If I have a chance, I‘ll watch it for sure.
And if you don‘t like opera, that‘s alright. It doesn‘t seem to have too much of THAT drama in it 😉

while I don’t often seek out opera, I do find it very beautiful and I would see this for sure. I also wrote about a music biopic today, and was disappointed in the film, but loved the music and the acting

I just watched a movie made in Australia with that young actress in it and loved her. I will have to check this one out, looks like a good watch.
