  1. Oh my….. have seen this trailer already before (no idea why) and both times I thought of a Korean musician friend of mine. So gentle, so unassuming, so brilliant, and I never know what goes on behind that totally wrinkle-free forehead…. She laughs quietly, often, and no-one knows if she laughs because she thinks something is funny or because she’s embarrassed for she didn’t understand what was being said. She’s married to a German musician, her mother-in-law hates her, she has a bright, adorable son – – – – I sure want to see that movie once it will be available over here!

  2. Just read the review – so insightful and exactly as I felt their characters in the trailer. This will be a gem.
And lastly, I know how those protagonists felt – it really happens, sometimes, in real life: that feeling of belonging, even when paying no attention at all…. Only sad when later on life proves that it was not that, after all. Developments go in different directions, and with even the best intentions, you realise you lived not the life you thought you were meant to live. Oh, this will be such an exciting movie…. I have to tell my Korean friend about it. The sad part is that she will have to watch it in a German duped version (she lives in Germany and they very, very rarely show films in their original language). (And now I shut up)

  3. In the span of this trailer alone, I’m sitting here with a lump in my throat…with laser focus, one wonders what might have been. As the image widens though, there is more to see, more to understand about the consequences of our choices. For me, there is a sizable portfolio of what ifs (me and the rest of the world too, I suspect) – I wouldn’t have had my kids – my heart and my soul; I might have gotten my PhD, though the stress of it might have killed me – and my career allowed me to further cultivate my knowledge; etc. I hope we can look back with poignancy, yet not gaze too long…for there is a present that is deserving of generous attention too…Hope this makes sense…and yes, more coffee ☕️

  4. You posted about this movie a year or two ago.

Thanks for the reminder. It wasn’t on Prime or Netflix back then.

      1. I only have 3 things on my list today,
        – get a hair trim
        – watch a movie
        – read enough poetry to get loose in the joints

        A snow day

  5. Just watched the trailer for this the other day and thought, ‘Yes, think I should see this one.’ Has just moved to the ‘must see’ queue. Thx pal….

  6. Awesome movie. Cary and I saw it when it was first released and loved it. Probably worth another look.
    Happy and healthy

    1. Thanks! Had to look it up

I see that you are using Korean. 감사합니다 (gamsahabnida) means “thank you” in Korean. It is a formal and polite way of expressing gratitude or appreciation. It comes from the verb 감사하다 (gamsahada), which means “to thank” or “to do gratitude” ¹².

      1. Koreans language is so polite and pleasing to the ears. I love Korean shows. Thank you for this recommendation. I’m running out of Kdrama to see in Prime, Netflix and Disney. Moving soon to Raku for more K movies.
