Swan 1: Quick. Get in formation. He’s coming.
Swan 2: Okay, but this time I get to face left.
Swan1: That’s my position.
Swan 2: Do you or don’t you want me in this formation?
Swan 1: Why are you so difficult?
Swan 2: Why does he have to keep taking our photo?
Swan 1: Good point. Humans are so weird. He waits around forever to take our photo and then gets all excited when we do what we do anyway, swim around.
Swan 2: Well, they are easily amused.
Swan 1: Shhh…. He’s here. Pretend you don’t see him.
Swan 2: Okay. Do you want to do that thing where we touch beaks and make that hearty shape thing humans like so much?
Swan 1: Nah. I don’t wanna get that close. Your breath stinks.
Swan 2: But it makes humans so happy when we do.
Swan 1: Too late. He’s gone.
Swan 2: Too bad. maybe he’ll be back.
Swan 1: Ha! Do fish swim in the water? Of course he’ll be back. he’s only human.
🙂
So graceful and serene, love.
They are….
They are so beautiful.
