Ah, Caleb, you need no winner blankets… you’re a winner of hearts! 😉 HHD, Dave! …last one for 21!
That’s right Marina. How could I have missed that!?!?!
😉
here’s to waheeela, may she be as wise and strong as she is beautiful
LAUGHING. YES!
She looks so proud too.
She does!
She’s looking a little smug…and hello? Where’s the tiara?
That’s for later!
Seriously, though, who *doesn’t* look good in gold lamé?!
LAUGHING!
My work here is done. 😉
Lori, I think I‘d look quite ridiculous in Gold lamé…. I‘m just happy not to be a camel 😉
Ohhh, come now, Kiki! I’m betting you could rock lamé with the best of them. 😉
Sadly, you’re wrong! My rocking lamé days are a thing of past beauty…. now I’m rocking Ridiculousness with the best of them 😉
Wonder how camel beauty is judged.
Hi Lulu. Per article: “Camel beauty competitions are divided into different categories, according to breed, age, sex and whether a camel is owned by a sheikh or a tribesman. The criteria, however, remain the same.
The ideal camel has long straight legs, a long neck, a shapely hump (in just the right spot on its lower back), pert ears, expressive eyes framed by upward curled eyelashes, long droopy lips and, of course, a sleek coat and elegant posture.”
I’ll take notice next time I see a camel.
Laughing.

Awesome!! Happy day … “Waheela (aka Caleb), draped in the winner’s blanket. She had just been named the most beautiful young camel in the Middle East.”
So interesting! I didn’t know there was such a thing as camel beauty contests. Thanks for sharing!
I know! Thanks Laurie.
Congrats to all the lovely camels who competed… (wow, THERE’S a phrase I never expected to say). 😂
Thanks for the laugh…that is very funny!
Laughing!
Eyes of the beholder….
Oh come on!!!!
(Sorry!) But still….
Still laughing!
Just when I was tired of learning it’s Wednesday again (and again and again), I find my heart opening more to our fellow camel creatures. I’m thinking that Waheela must feel beautiful and very loved after being doted on and praised so much.
Smiling…
I hope Caleb hasn’t been caught in the botox scandal.
Absolutely not! 😝
Speechless … female camel adulation reaches new heights❣️ I can imagine Caleb standing by and enjoying the show. Las Vegas in the desert. 🤩
Oh he is!
The rules for Miss Universe must have been relaxed to include all universes and species. Wait till extraterrestrial beauties demand a part, too!
Ha! I can’t wait!
Me either!
Go Baby Go! 🐪
I suppose you need a keen eye to tell which is the most beautiful young camel. It’s not me. They all look the same: equally beautiful or equally ugly. I’ll expect the spitting to begin.
