Beautiful!
Thanks Dale.
That must have been a refreshing walk
It was that!!!!
Absolutely *green* with envy. Enjoy your storm, pal. A little hot cocoa, a fire, a good book, something bubbling in the crockpot, ahhhh. Sign. Me. Up. 🙂
Hmmmmmmmm. So green with envy. As you swing in your hammock.
Laughing. And it’s not a hammock, it’s a chaise…😉
Oh God.
I heard that!
I bet you did.
😂
Just out of curiosity, how much you got on the ground at this point? (I think this is what’s commonly known as ‘pokin’ the bear.’)
12″ and still falling. Rain forecast at 2am. Then temps drop again.
Yikes! Sounds like that could be a bit (ahem) messy. Better don your Yaktrax before heading out on tomorrow morning’s shoot. https://yaktrax.implus.com/. Swore by them for winter dog walks in NH.😉
Note to self: I’m getting coaching tips from couch Lady swaying in her ‘chaise’. Have I hit a new low?
Will get back to you on that right after I refresh my Mai Tai.😋
She’s relentless like her stair climber.
….the blankets of snow over the park look so peaceful ,…. from inside!! I know right where you were – wonderful photos, stay cozy! MJ
Thanks! We are!
And now… you get to stay inside, warm and cozy after having ventured out into the storm and brought home the baco…. photos! 🙂
Your photos are magical!
Yes!!!! Thank you Louise.
Great pictures, moody.
Thanks for sharing. Keep well
The Fab Four of Cley
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you!
Beautiful photos. I bet those geese can hardly wait for it to warm up, but they do make a great picture. I think what makes these photos especially effective is the half light. Broad daylight would not have given them such magic.
Thank you Anneli. I 100% agree. I find when the sun comes up, the magic and the mystery life along with it. Twilight is a magic time. Every when it feels like 11° F outside.

Susan was just saying: “I miss Florida.” Really?!?! 🙂
Gorgeous photos, Dave.
Thanks Jean.
wonderful
Thank you!
So beautiful! 👏👏Well done to you DK for being out there alone to capture this divine beauty. When I am in nature each day, no one is ever there, and yet, I’m always surprised by this? It’s like I’ve discovered the garden of Eden and have it all to myself! 🌈
Smiling. Only difference is that you are actually Walking in the Garden Of Eden vs our ice box.
No not at all! What you stand in each day is so beautiful. I’m grateful to experience the snow through your captures 👏👏👏
Smiling….
Winter wonderland…
Certainly the “Winter” Part!
love the photo of the light through the tress…
It was Magic that light Jim. Thanks.
I love the early light on the snow
Yes…magic.
Wow, you hit the motherlode! Awesome photos!
Thank you Carol!
Did you walk? You are amazing. But yes, so beautiful photographs, so beautiful. Thank you, Love, nia
I did walk Nia. Bit not far or for long. Too cold and blustery. Thank you
Frameable – really
Thank you Mimi.
Eerily beautiful! You are brave…and wise–thanks for sharing it with we indoor inhabitants. I’m guessing that no ground hog is coming out tomorrow to forecast spring–maybe, because it held off for so long, we’ll have endless winter?
I’m betting ground hog is coming up.
BEAUTY. !!
Thank you!
