The zoos and aquariums are suffering. So sad. A great shot of the giraffe!
It is sad…so glad there are such good people willing to care for them…
This giraffe looks content if curious, wondering what happened to all the gawking humans.
He/she does look peaceful! Great observation Claire!
the animals are probably quite happy, as long as they have enough food. such a cute face
Yes….
That face!!!!
Yes!

Well, hello there … time to wake up!! Cuteness …
Adorable … and a worthwhile message David.
Sure is Val….Have a great week.
What a nugget! He/she looks so content. I’d pay big money for eyelashes like that!!
Funny!
when I first saw that photo, I thought you got your days mixed up with “Guess What Day It Is”.
this is why I don’t work at a zoo; giraffes, camels,… they all start to look the same … 🙂
Just heard same from Valerie. FUNNY.
you’ve got us trained, like Pavlov’s dogs… 🙂
…was wondering…What Day is it???
Ha! Jumping the gun already Valerie thinking it’s Wed on Monday. It’s going to be a very long week for you!
well one day is like another and weeks all merge somehow…can’t keep track of how many covid cases and deaths from one day to the next… Need more than Caleb for this kind of “What Day Is It?” [you won’t know it but I’m half sadly serious and half laughing]
SO ME TOO!
While I don’t believe in zoos and aquariums (outside of those that exist for wounded animals that cannot be returned to the wild) these poor beasties must be cared for. Must cost a fortune to keep them fed and safe.
That said… how adorable is this one?
With you up and down on this Dale.
🙂
Excellent capture. I want to touch that beautiful face and plant a kiss. But of course I know better. 😁
Smiling. I would hope I would know better… 🙂
Maybe he’s thinking, “Dang. We got rid of the humans why can’t they take their technological gadgets with them?”
and yup — I did get a little confused on the day of the week too! 🙂
I’m afraid humans (this human and his gadgets) are here to stay!
Sweet angle! And I do mean “angle” not “angel,” although he does have an angelic look too.
Angle?
Perspective. The angle from the camera to the little sweetheart’s nose.
Ah Ha, I get it now! Thanks.
Or you could say trajectory, but that sounds kind of bullet-like.
What mascara does she use? Love her eyes. (I’ve obviously decided this is a female).
Funny!
Don’t get your posts any longer. Can’t do anything about it. Fed up….
Great drone pic, but I know that the zoos are also suffering with no income, no visitors and hungry animals. Do you have a zoo nearby? Bring the blo.. y RATS… 😉
Laughing…..
It must be a mesmerising sight for the tall guy!
