Table of Contents from: Be Glad You’re Neurotic” by Louis E. Bisch. (1946, original copyright 1936)
“From my admittedly low effort research, Be Glad You’re Neurotic is an example of early pop psychology publications. Bisch wants everyone to embrace their inner crazy, the idea that this is what makes you a better human (ie. superior). Bottom line: You can cure yourself by just embracing your inner freak.” By Mary Kelly, December, 7, 2017

great chapter titles and good to know!
😬
Ha! Are you getting the most out of your insomnia Mr K? Love it all, and I’m happy to admit I’m insane 😜
I am Karen. I am. As to your insanity, like kind attracts like kind. 😐
Laughing – did you need any more reinforcement than the assurances of some of your favorite cyber-compadres?😉
We are a neurotic wolf pack. Yes we are. One giant collective commiserating amongst ourselves. 🙂
Exactly – garden variety neurotics all fretting over the same soil…
Love that, turning the same soil. Beautiful.
Made me laugh with delight. Makes me think of the time, years and years ago (about 20-25 actually) when I repeatedly said to everybody who urged me to write books (I didn’t, surely to everybody’s relief) that my first book would be called WHY OH WHY DID I HAVE A NORMAL AND NON-ABUSIVE CHILDHOOD. Little did I know then that a short while later a non-ending series of books would be published on all the horrible childhoods all the authors had to live through! Not to poke fun, good heavens no, but this list just brought it up again in my mind. I would SO read that, even now!
Laughing. I get that Kiki.
I have just bought a 2nd/3rd/4th hand copy being sent to me in France from TX!!!! 🙂
You see, I can be serious 🙂
I’ve just looked into the 2 links to above article….. made me wonder if my decision to buy was a good one…. BUT if the copy is a readable one, I can still pass it on to my other neurotic (in a good way, of course….) friends!
Mad Hatter: “Have I gone mad?”
Alice: “I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”
Smiling. LOVE THAT VAN!
Sanity is highly overrated, DK.
I’m learning that Van, I’m learning.
Revealed. Found out. Exposed….don’t tell but I think I wrote the chapter headings on that title page. And to think they all came to me in a rush of minutes and…madness!
P.S. Move over DK…I think I’m falling in love with vanbytheriver…
Wanna share?
Who doesn’t love VAN!?!
That darn Peteski @ TIH finds the best stuff.
So agree!
I think being on the straight and narrow and sane is highly overrated, not to mention boring.
I’m sticking with the likes of you and all your readers. We are a wonderfully, fun and eclectic lot, don’t you think?
THE CHOIR SINGING LOUDLY TO THE….CHOIR!

Hugs
Oh Boy…
What a bunch! Utterly lovable madness. I’m so glad 😁
You didn’t finish the sentence. “I’m so glad I’m one of you!”
Yes! My bad, but happy you could read my mind … now smiling.
Hi David, I had advanced prepared a post with this same picture. It’ll show up eventually on Eclecticity Light. Congratulations for beating me to it! All the best to you and yours this holiday season. E.
Hi Doug. I’m sure this book cover applies to many of us. 😬Happy holidays to you and your family.
