Monday Morning Wake-Up Call: Get up, get out, go to your work

22208_linn-ullmann2

My father was a very disciplined and punctual man; it was a prerequisite for his creativity. There was a time for everything: for work, for talk, for solitude, for rest. No matter what time you get out of bed, go for a walk and then work, he’d say, because the demons hate it when you get out of bed, demons hate fresh air. So when I make up excuses not to work, I hear his voice in my head: Get up, get out, go to your work.

  1. LOOOVE this.
I’m visiting my parents to get the house ready for winter and he’s been calling me to get out of bed for and hour.
    He’s going to LOVE this.
    Have a great week 🙂

I’m embarrassed, did not know you were a Minister. Bless you. I’m a newbie myself. Gramps was exactly the same, if can’t get to work on time, no need to go or if you can get out of bed you can go to work. Good memories for me.
    Take care.

  3. A daily routine of prudent forethought, makes an effective constitution,../// “demons hate fresh air”, because, fresh air clears the mind, giving focus…God wants people to not be polluted in mind, body and soul…this girl , thankfully has the full armor of God protecting her along the path…
