The morning cup of coffee
has an exhilaration about it
which the cheering influence
of the afternoon or evening cup of tea
cannot be expected to reproduce.

WOW! 124 years and now… This is so impressive… By the way I am in tea group 🙂 But I like to drink coffee too… Thank you dear David, have a nice day, love, nia
Smiling. I can see you in a tea group Nia. 🙂
Me too now 🙂 My language is amazing and sometimes I can’t find the exact word or can’t remember then I try to explain/express… Actually there is not a tea group but it was something like cat lovers, dog lovers… 🙂 ah, why not tea lovers!!!! can we use like that?
I’m not diving into that debate! 🙂
a coffee and a tea feel as different as the sun and the moon to me.
Indeed. Written as she sips.
Just as any journey starts with a single step, each day begins with coffee.
That’s it…
Truer words were never spoken. A cup of expectation is how I see it–what will today bring?! 😀
That’s it!
My morning cup of coffee with biscotti served by my hubby–my morning ritual. I haven’t figured out how to get him to do it twice each day!
Cookies with Coffee. And look at you – thin as a reed. How do you do it?
Ancient Chinese secret 😜
I disagree–since I now no longer take sugar in my coffee, it is not quite the elixir it was before–but my taste buds are starting to adjust
No sugar. Come on LouAnn. Live a little.
lost almost 20 pounds–and that was the impetus–I must say I do have a few hot chocolates every now and then……………I am now down to my fighting weight–used to have a fast metabolism so no need to worry about what I put in my mouth,…that was then..this is now
Wow, you cut sugar out and cut 20 lbs. Impressive. I need to get on that plan.
That first-thing morning cup of coffee is top on my list of consistent sources of happiness – I don’t care if it’s my own strong brew or the weak stuff that the smiling old guys make at the YMCA.
It does bring happiness Elizabeth. i agree.
I’m a total Starbucks freak (shiny gold card in my billfold), but since I’ve been sick, I just can’t stomach it. I’m sure this will pass, but for now I’m living on hot apple cider mixed with green tea. Just doesn’t have the romance of a cuppa Joe.
No this surprised me. I never had you pegged for grossly overpriced coffee.
I am … a coffee addict. and, probably a coffee snob.. ok, fine. there’s no “Probably” 🙂 nice post David!
Smiling. Thanks Debi.
