There are so many people who’ve come before us,
arrows and wagon wheels, obsidian tools, buffalo.
Look out at the meadow, you can almost see them,
generations dissolved in the bluegrass and hay.
I want to try and be terrific.
Even for an hour.

Breathtaking photograph; I love it! Karol took a mesmerising shot. Ada’s words married with the photo exceptionally well. Wonderful post David.

“…try and be terrific. Even for an hour.” Today’s goal is set! ☺️
Bingo!
EXACTLY what I was thinking….Let’s go!
Now. Right now.
Haunting photo. To honor those who have gone before us, we need to try.
even for a minute.

I could hear the wind and smell the sage from here … and my father’s land looks just like that. It is sacred to me.

Hi MJ. I felt the same way when I look at this picture. Sacred – that’s it.
