Everything permanent is due for a surprise,
The stopped stunned by the ever-changing.
What everybody always took for granted
Astonishes a second before it disappears.

Thanks for sharing.
ah, but it does indeed.
Yes so true. Why do we forget this?
Aye! Now that is the big question.
Reblogged this on It Is What It Is and commented:
Before you know it, “poof” …. it’s gone!! Nothing is permanent!
Yes! Thanks for sharing Horty.
Before the bubble appeared,
During its few iridescent moments
And after the bubble disappeared
What was,
What is,
And what will ever be is the space.
Permanent, unchanging, and ignored.
And what is it that is subtler than
but *aware* even of this space,
Why, the very nature of our being
Essence of All things,
Our Presence
I Am.
Beyond all things I percieve (through our five senses, sensations, feelings, space)
Beyond all things I conceive (through our mind as in thoughts, Ideas, associations, time)
Before i can say I am a man (or a woman),
Before i can say I am a father(mother), brother(sister), son(daughter),
Before i can say I am an engineer, a doctor, an artist, or a singer,
Before i can say I am a human,
I Am.
(Can anyone say “I am not.” !?) 😉
What is taken for granted is this.
The Changeless background
In which
All things appear and disappear.
To become aware of this ‘I Am’
We need no religion, or spirituality,
it is our common experience
In which we are all
Connected.
and we all “know” this
As
Love.
K.
wow!
A lifetime can be seen in the glitter of a snowflake, in the bursting of the bubble, in the smile of a child.
Yes Claudia. Beautifully stated.
