After giving this some careful thought, I would say he has a 50/50 chance of being either right or wrong. Wrong, if he is arguing with himself. Right, if he is pondering what to get his wife for her anniversary after she actually told him what to buy…
Yep, the women are just confirming a fact and stepping back. The men are holding forth….it’s great. Just waiting for Michael to weigh in with something pithy and I’ll be good to go….

If a man speaks in the forest, and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong?”
1) If a man speaks in the forest…. sounds strange, isn’t it? Because if we say like that, if a woman speaks in the forest…. you expect something, for example all trees listen to her… or all trees begin to sing or talk… But if a man speaks in the forest, I just imagine, all leaves fall down or all stones fall down from the hills because of the voice of a man 🙂
2) Man can speak in the forest… Freedom and screaming coming to my mind 🙂
3) The second part of the sentence is strange, does this man want a woman to hear him? If he speaks in the forest means for me, he wants to stay alone and to talk with himself… otherwise why is he in the forest…
4) …is he still wront?”… by asking this question with “still”, as if we have already know that man is wrong 🙂 am I wrong by thinking like that…
As you see, I tried to understand what’s going on around this sentence 🙂 For me, Man always knows where to speak and what to say… The problem is about with woman… We speak tooooooooo muchhhhhhhhh, we speak more than men… and sometimes there are toooo many words in our speaking but still we don’t say/announce what we want to say 🙂 Man should find it between our full of words… or behind the words…
Anyway it was deep really dear David, differences of cultures, and languages, etc. took me in these points, I hope I didn’t make confuse your readers 🙂

First of all, are we to believe that a man speaks in the forest? 🙂

I think he does. It’s the only chance he has to get a word in edgewise.
