What’s Stopping You?

    1. Agree…yet we do. Reminds me of the Helen Keller quote:

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

  1. I grew up in such a fearful home—never make waves, never jeopardize the status quo. This is what I needed today to remember all that fear is a concept, not a fact.

  2. What holds me back…. a deep rooted negative self image of myself. The fear of being exposed and really seen. Things like failure and uncertainty I’m ok with. The problem with fears, when not faced, is that they spread into every facet of our lives without us even realizing it. Great video, thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. Always surprises me to hear how fear directs the behavior of so many. Fear of failure, fear of ridicule, fear of disappointment. Ya think you’re the only one struggling, and yet… I was just speaking to someone the other day, an older gentleman, and he said, “Hell, if you’re not failing, you’re not trying.” A cliche, perhaps, but the veracity of the statement struck me nonetheless. Ya can’t always win/succeed, but you most certainly will go nowhere if you don’t even try…
