The moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do.
Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.

I love this!
Me too…
Reblogged this on MadeleineMaya.
Thanks for sharing Madeleine…
My pleasure! Have a nice weekend!
David, when did you change your blog’s name?
🙂 Lynne, I snuck it in on Sunday. This blog started with a Business/Leadership theme 2+ years ago. I veered sharply away from Leadership and decided that a name change might better reflect what goes up here. (I encountered sharp opposition at home which underscored the need to change. :))
and perfect in our imperfection.
It is…
So very true.
Beautiful words and post, these♥
Thank you for sharing and do take care, too 🙂
They are B*. Thank you.
Just noticed “Live and Learn”. That was sneaky, I don’t remember you consulting us on this, how dare you! Love it.
Laughing. You don’t miss a beat, do you friend. Thank you.
Love this, and especially after enjoying the splendor of this past week’s full moon. And I agree with Michael, that was sly the way you slipped that name change in. First the photo and now this. What’s next, the font?!
Laughing. I did sneak it in. And without your consent. I should have known better.
WLS – though I commented on another post of yours which I read first. Smooth transition my friend (who’s the person in the picture? It looks like a far more appealing Lindsay Lohan…breathe..I’m teasing you) “I see the moon and the moon sees me” – there is comfort in that pearlescent orb in all of its phases. Loved it.
Laughing. Pearlescent orb. FULL STOP.
The moon does call to one sometimes, like a pulse as it shines over us and all we have ever been and ever will.
Yes Jenni. Moon is mysterious and magical.
Wow! So much more so than the sun. One of my favorite books of all time is Goodnight Moon. As to the new name, you are our Leader!
🙂 Smiling. Thanks Carolann.
Great pic and I really like the new blog name as I am always learning from the post you give us David. Bravo!
Awwwww, thank you Tina.
