Omg. This is so true. All the neighborhood dogs came to play in our yard and this is exactly how they looked (except for the dachshund who didn’t weight enough to sink).

the groundhog is at a seaside spa on a small, quiet island, sipping on a tall glass of something cool, nibbling on fruits picked fresh from the tree, and fish picked fresh from the sea, and getting a warm stone massage, and having a gentle mani/pedi, and listening to the sound of beautiful string instruments, and being kissed by the sun. at least that is what i imagine i am/he is doing right now.

That dog looks like me last weekend .. in a flash of brilliance I ventured into the backyard (which has been ventured into or shoveled since there’s no longer a dog to shovel a path for) … the snow was up over my knees and, when I reached the steps down to the patio, I promptly sunk to my waist. Literally had to swim out. good grief!
The groundhog took one look around and went straight back to the underground bar he frequents. His name is Tony and he’s a billiard champion as well 🙂
