You can never have too much sky.
You can fall asleep
and wake up drunk on sky,
and sky can keep you safe when you are sad.
Here there is too much sadness
and not enough sky.
Butterflies are too few
and so are flowers
and most things that are beautiful.
Still we take what we can get and make the best of it.

and when you open your eyes wide, welcome it in, and soak it up, you will find you may need sunglasses to keep out all the bright.
perfect.
We are needing spring..
Oh boy. We are a long way from home there. To have cabin fever NOW, is a bad thing. Very bad thing.
I am comforted by the colors of this post and the comments, this morning. Thanks!
Me too Ann, thank you.
I love the colors of sky ~ happy beautiful Friday to all!
Yes Yvonne, the colors of the sky are beautiful! 🙂
Picture is perfect.
🙂 It is.
“…we take what we can get and make the best of it.” All too familiar words… 🙂
Yes, yes there are…
I love the colors and the whole collection..and what I love too..is that it’s not perfect. In other words, it’s not the little paint swatch from the store..it’s someones brushstrokes and I love the slightly askew nature about it… nice feeling to have on Friday.
I gave me that same feeling Bonnie…thanks.
Yes, I love blue – especially up in the sky.
All kinds of blue. All of it.
The sky is so beautiful this morning; blues with broad strokes of reds as the sun rose.
It’s always beautiful in South Florida Carolann. Always.
Great theme – so soothing and so abundant! You just have to notice and enjoy it.
Yes Marianne…that’s it…
I was craving (this word better suits my condition at the moment) for few words like this, “and sky can keep you safe when you are sad.. Here there is too much sadness.. and not enough sky.” I feel like to speak out loud these words again and again. Thanks David!
yes, Sonia, beautifully stated. it grabbed me the same way.
