The Avett Brothers /ˈeɪvɨt/ is a critically acclaimed American band from Concord, North Carolina. The band is made up of two brothers—Scott Avett (banjo) and Seth Avett (guitar). The band appeared on the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2011, playing “Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise.” Their sixth album The Carpenter (2012) was nominated for Best Americana Album Grammy (55th annual). The band released their sixth studio album, Magpie and the Dandelion, in October 2013.

one of my all time favorite songs. and my favorite band. i have seen them here 3 times and they are always one with their audience.
I haven’t seen them live (or many bands live for that matter)…but they are on my short list. Great that you have seen them 3x.
i really love to experience live music, though i generally only go to small venues, i’m not an arena type of woman. this band reaches out to its audience and joins in the pleasure of the music and the experience, like no other i’ve seen.
I’m aligned. Large arena/stadium concerts aren’t for me.
