Morning

Hawaii-beach-surf-morning-relax

It’s 6:16 am.
You’re up.
Body aching for more sleep. A long week.
Sun is rising in Kauai.
Winds at 8 mph from North-Northeast.
Passing Clouds.
Warm.
74° F.
You walk out of your room
onto the beach.
Your toes sink gently into the cool sand.
The surf is lapping at your feet.
You look out onto the horizon,
and find Blue.
Deep Blue
as far as your eyes can see.
And think,
Right here.
Right now.
I wish.

  1. Easing into the morning here at home…air is clean, temps are cool, the sky still has some stars insisting on making their presence known. It’s all good.

  2. Gorgeous crisp morning here in NH as well–a reading of 46 degrees on the thermometer, dogs fed and pottied and snuggled back into place, snoring softly while I go through my mail. Two thumbs up from this quadrant! Make it a good one pal, and CONGRATS on dropping that weight *below* your goal!
