Laughing. It was possible from 6:33 to 6:45. Now it’s filling up again!!!!

OMG – you actually get your inbox down to zero? Holy cow! I am impressed!! 🙂

Yes. OCD.

Lol! But, really, is it even possible?

Not if I keep feeding the beast!!!!

Laughing….I, too, feel a rush of elation on the (rare) occasions when I witness this beautiful sight. I dare say it’s JOY that I feel, rather than happiness… 😉

Is it JOY Lori. It’s not happiness. It’s BIGGER. 🙂

I agree, is this even possible? You give me faith to push harder to get through my email. Of course each of your posts go to my email box … kinda fills it up. 🙂

Laughing. So funny. And TRUE. I was in your town for 2 days this week. LOVE YOUR CITY.

I like emails – just not too many at a time.

I feel the same way. Yet, I don’t like “untended to” emails. This is problematic for me.
Loading...
Same here. Sometimes it gets to be a bit of a burden to sort out what’s important in emails as there is more and more that resembles junk mail cluttering up the good ones.

Congrats.

Thanks. Back to chopping wood.

Hilarious and profound haha!

🙂 We all have the same issue, right!?!

I can’t imagine this ever. I think I have 5,000 e-mails in my work inbox right now. Crazy, right? I do sort them to different folders, too, but I get so many e-mails that it is hard to keep up.
I have pondered if it’s actually bad to have thousands of e-mails in your inbox? Does it slow down your e-mail, or just make it disorganized? Also, I think I am an “e-mail hoarder”, if there is such a thing. LOL.

5000 in your in-box. OMG. I get anxious just thinking about this. You might check out http://inboxzero.com/ as a resource. They have good ideas here to help.

Thanks for the resource link. 🙂

My pleasure…

Glad you have the photo!

It was a flicker in time!

[Laughing] I knew there is something wrong and you answered it by yourself “It was possible from 6:33 to 6:45”

🙂 And the box was full again this morning. It’s like Lucy on I Love Lucy on the assembly line handling chocolates.

Hahaha. It had to be, Man.
Loading...
Really?? Need to experience that.

Euphoria…

Now if you could just turn your computer off at 6:45 and walk away, all would be well..

Yes!

Come on no body likes empty inbox. On the second thought may be some like it this way, I’m free so I like ‘ so ans so has commented on your post ’emails.

Correct. It’s “un-tended” and not-responded-to emails that create the anxiety of unfinished business…

I enjoyed that bliss a few days ago 🙂

Me too!

Now I know what to choose for a calming visualisation exercise!

Laughing. What a picture of Zen!

I try so hard to keep up with my emails. Every time I clear up one, ding, two more appear. Like you, When it is cleaned up it only last ten minutes at the most and then it starts all over again. Right now, I am behind.
Carrie Klassen in Toronto calls me an ’email whisperer’. Here’s another post I did on Getting Things Done [GTD] and Gmail yesterday; http://e1evation.com/2013/02/01/getting-things-done-gtd-tweaks-for-gmail/ I know you’re a Yahoo! guy, but you can also seamlessly have your Yahoo! emails sucked into Gmail if you want to get more productive. Yahoo! hasn’t really improved their email interface in a decade — Gmail does it every month… 😀

I find the Yahoo email box is easier to use and easier on the eyes. (Deeper problem perhaps of resisting change?)

Bingo! There’s a blog post in there, I think. I feel exactly the opposite. Yahoo! looks cluttered to me. Sounds like we both have powerful paradigms in play… 😀

Love this post!!

Laughing. As I’m trying to cut down my untended emails. I’m with you Judy.
Is this actually possible?

BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!.
Yep, I’m with you Francine. Exactly.
It’s one thing to get there by accident; I help people get there on purpose using David Allen’s Getting Things Done [GTD] principles and a few Chrome extensions. See http://e1evation.com/2012/09/29/this-is-what-inbox-zero-looks-like/
Yes! Thanks for sharing Todd. I’ll check it out.
