Somehow I can’t bear to think of her pain, how I think that each wrinkle boldly tells a story that would have bowed me in and of itself, let alone surrounded by many others.
Yes. Picture is, as Lori would say, evocative. I’m becoming a Lori “parrot.”
When it comes to gorgeous writing, we should all be so talented…yes Lori, we’re talking about you.
Wisdom speaks!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Yes, without saying a word, she does Francine. She does.
Gosh, guys, you’ve got me blushing and beaming and it’s not even 6am! ;-). And you’re right, David, incredibly evocative!
Smiling. 🙂
Funny what you twig onto – I went straight to the quote – especially after last night’s video and this morning’s job stress post.
Perceptive. Period.
My first thought when I saw the photo was wisdom, experience and “I’d love to hear her story”.
Me too. Just love the photo. Genius to capture it…

There is a backstory…. I may never know waht it is. My mind’s eye see many people in this position young and old. “doning nothing has consequences too.” Do something!
Thanks for sharing. I do fully agree with you…
David,
thanks for stopping by! make it a great day
… depth of life… Congrats!
Thank you
Great picture Dave. Reminds me of our grandfather for some reason. That generation of people who toiled and worked so hard shows on their hands and face. Amazing.
Never thought of that Lorne, but now that you mention it, I’m with you. Especially the hards.
Full stop. I don’t know how you do this.
Do what Bonnie?
Find these things that seem to have a message that is just what I needed to hear or connects a couple of thoughts that I couldn’t. 🙂
I’m glad to help. I hope it never stops. 🙂
What a photo. I aspire to take a photo like that some day. thank you for sharing.
Me too Jenni. Not likely for me – I’ll still with admiring others. 🙂
Had a mentor who used to say “not having a plan is also a plan…”
Still makes sense to me…
Yes, Jeff. Had mentor who shared: “If you don’t know where you are going, any path will take you there.” Similar theme…
Happens to be a George Harrison song as well…so we must be on the right path…whether or not we intended to take it… 🙂
🙂
What a powerful photo and message.
Thanks Maralee. I’m with you.
The human body and brain is built for action, shame to waste that potential with inactivity.
Yes Alex. Except lazy Saturday afternoons when it’s nap time.
