Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) was a Dutch Painter. Titles for works above: Amaryllis (1910), Compositie (1916), Composition No. 9 (Blue Façade) (1913-14).
Near the later years of his life, he produced some of his signature work (Below: Composition with Yellow, Blue, and Red, 1937–42) which “consisted of white ground, upon which was painted a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the three primary colors.”
