What’s your spirit bird doing here today?
Spirit Bird flies on all days. You of all people should know that Sawsan.
As far as I’m concerned, your spirit bird is The Sparrow.
Sweet! HHD, Dave!
Sweet! HHD, Dave!
Thanks Marina! Happy Hump Day!
How’d you get something as amazing as a coromant as your spirit animal??? And I’m aligned with the sloth…😜
You most certainly are not Mimi! 😊
Thank you Paul…but I never really got some wise owl, or graceful cormorant…maybe a waddling penguin…
May I suggest a Snowy owl? 😊
I think that would be a good fit Mimi. 😊
Beautiful bird – but I’m neither graceful nor wise and I wouldn’t no how to catch a rodent if my life depended on it 😜
Mimi, you made me laugh! You are everything but…. my mum always used to say (of me): „You‘re such a paradise bird…. I just don‘t know how you made it to us.“ To which I usually replied: Well, YOU should know actually!
Happy to offer up some giggles! And love that your mom described you as a ‘paradise bird’ – that’s beautiful !
I never knew if that was a compliment, because mum just couldn‘t figure me out – too colourful, too strange with my flights of fantasy, too ‚not-normal‘ in my behaviour. I think rather that I exasperated her. But the idea IS lovely.
Love this!

Me too! Thanks Mary Ann!
I think this was my favorite “image” (look at you again with the videos) of the day.
Spirit Bird? Ok….
Quick Search: Cormorant is telling you that hard times are actually gifts leading you to your souls needs. As a bird, you might find yourself getting caught in mental loops in your head as you soar through the air, but remember the Cormorant finds food and nourishment in the sea (heart & emotions).
Well?
Oh, Oh, Oh Brother!
It sounds close…. “comfort and nourishment in the sea” Mr. 1500 (almost)
Magical moments, David!
It was Cher. It was. Thank you!
great capture! I have to say that at a very first quick glance, I thought I was seeing double Loch Ness monsters.) probably no one’s spirit animal
Laughing. Thanks Beth.
We love our Cormorants here on Saint Albans Bay, Vermont as well. We are blessed to still own the camp that my grandfather built in the 1920s (100 years wow!). (I probably shared this story already.) The camp is literally at waters’ edge. The basement floods during high water every spring by design. Ownership was passed from my grandparents, to my mother, and now to my brother. And right now I thank the gods that we are close (my brother and I), as I am allowed to visit whenever I choose, and it is only 8 miles from where I live.
Love love love this video Dave!
Sending it to my two brothers right now. (No sisters… We are the three demons!) Poor Mom! Three sons and a husband, and nowhere to hide… 🙃
HHD!
Thanks Paul. 100 year old cabin in the family. What a gift!!!
Being right at water’s edge, the place is a maintenance nightmare (erosion from the waves etc.). Fortunately, my brother can fix most anything! It’s not a pretty building, but the location… Priceless.
Priceless! Love that.
Lovely story Paul. My dad had his wife and three girls, until 14yrs after the first, they produced a son….
If I were a jealous person, I‘d really wish to have a cabin nr the water! But as I‘m not, I congratulate you and your brother to have this precious share.
Better to rent one occasionally than to own one Kiki, trust me! It is forever in need of repair. Fortunately, my brother actually enjoys fixing things!
(Thinking ahead to tomorrow…)
1500 days times 3 miles per day = 4500 miles!
That’s basically a walk across the USA, and halfway back! Cool!!!
4500 miles! Who knew!!! Thanks Paul.
Ducks.
