  1. I‘m wondering about the VERY different light of the same tree compo. I have that often when the sun or light in general breaks in differently as I turn my camera slightly. Ppl then ask me if I ‚doctored‘ the photos heavily…. But I‘d like to know if these pics were taken on the same walk. And your photos on ig don‘t really help in that respect either.
We have a glorious, dare I say unusually brilliant, day today. Just right for all the mothers who are serenaded by their children, small and big. One friend told me with a sigh: We have both sets of parents for lunch; to which I replied: And we have none…. What‘s better? Happy Mother’s Day to Susan and ALL THE WONDERFUL WOMEN on your blog.

    1. This won’t happen often… but since I was there this morning…. I can confidently defend him and say DK took these on the same walk. It was the “tale of many mornings” out there today. Had he stayed longer…. The sky went completely white by 6:30! He could have taken a 4th picture, but alas, he probably had to get home to nap.

Thankfully…. He shared these with us. Outstanding DK.

        1. Backhanded? Who me? Never. I would come right after you. Woman of action that I am. But…. I AM glad you got some rest. The race is long.

    2. Thank you Kiki. These photos and photos posted on IG on the day are all taken on the Same day. In the case of this post, I have time stamped the day and times of the day on the post. Thanks.

      1. I closed all my social accounts once a data breach happened and all of my personal information was released. First I found that Twitter is one of the leading places to have leaks in information. Neither were driving traffic any way so I and already thought about closing. 🙂

    1. Thanks Paul. We lived in the UK, France (Canada too) and so I was – for years – kinda fête-ing 3 times…. But once is enough too!

  2. I love this, a set of the same shot different time.
I have a set of sane spot, different dates of the year, beautifully illustrating the tilt of planet Earth from the plane of its orbit around the sun.
Another scientific fact, if it weren’t for this tilt, we wouldn’t know seasons the way we know them now.
