  1. We lose some filters (and common sense) as we get older. Luckily for me, being married helps keep the filters in place, at least in some form 😊

  2. 😂😂 I have more ‘Ally McBeal’ moments with every passing year. I try to keep my mouth in check, but don’t always succeed. I find myself standing out in the back yard and screaming a lot more these days. Gotta have a pop-off valve….😉

      1. They say crazy skips a couple of generations. I’m sad it didn’t pass down to any of my children.
I do have a filter. I pause and I think. But still, it is rare that it stops me. Because, someone has to say it.

          1. You’re laughing now!
Until you’re the target of one of my tongue lashes.

          2. Your comment on my Instagram photo yesterday was a no-filter comment. I’m glad you didn’t just flat our say who’s this old woman!!!

          3. Older?  Compare yesterday’s shot to The Proust Questionnaire photo. If that’s really you, you look 29 and have cracked time travel in reverse.

          4. I love the Proust Questionnaire photo. It was a special day and a special place.
            Thank you DK

  3. There’s a great Facebook meme of a little blond girl giving someone the incredulous side-eye; I’m trying to perfect that look, because as a Catholic and a Boomer, I have double the filters — it’s not healthy!

  4. Simply love this! I’m all with you my friend…. been there, done it, enjoyed it too, what the heck! We might all be dead tomorrow- let’s go for it!

  5. Oh, I do recall twice in my life being in that position…once when I was 15 or 16 how smoothly & diplomatically I corrected someone who was jealous of me and thought she was telling me my own business, correcting me & bringing my Honor & Fairness into question…I was so articulate, firm and told how mistaken she was…informing her of what she Couldn’t have know -she was doing a lot of assuming…I sure shut her down…///and the second time was oh just about five years ago…a nice young woman made an offer to move her chair so I could see better, I told her I was fine and why my view was just fine,I sure surprised her with what my people watching view, was Ha ha…
