Thank Val. It was so foggy and so misty and they just showed up out of nowhere and vanished just as quickly!

I almost got killed by a deer while driving from CT to NY one night. i know it happens often up there that they run out in the road.

Wow! This turned dark quickly. I’m so sorry to hear that Melinda. I didn’t mean to trigger the past here….

You haven’t had a deer run out in the road before? I hear it happens all the time up there. When I was traveling to CT on a regular basis I would see them run in the road from the freeway.

This is beautiful, pal. That light is otherworldly. And not for nothing, but a deer is said to bring the message that ‘practical pursuits can yield unexpected surprises.’ ☺️

We have deer in our garden regularly. We are ambivalent about it. It is nice, but they eat the blossoms of tulips, daffodils and other flowers that we don’t like. Now it’s the time here when they bring their young ones.
Great light!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend

Yes, they can be giant rodents devouring everything. But there is Something so Mystical about them for me. Thank you Klaus. Have a great weekend. Dave

She is such a graceful, doe…/// for decades we’ve lived amongst the deer…we love to watch them…so many stories of our encounters…when our house was finished, on our 1st night sleeping there on the floor, with our heads under the open window, as the bed hadn’t been delivered, before we had a fence…we heard chewing!…with out turning on a light, we looked out and there was a deer on the other side of the screen…eating under the moonlight…/// each time you post the Devin Kelly quote I always read it twice, since I love deer…today I am thinking of his word, wound as I am laid up, day six of multiple, painful wounds on my left foot and being diabetic it is a concern…saw the doctor yesterday…he was shocked it wasn’t infected yet..my husband is picking up the antibiotic now to have on hand if infection starts…the dressings even hurt…
