Too cold for man or beast or bird…but the glow from the house offers warmth…

That house, like a sentinel beckoning…💕 Bundle up, pal. Sounds like it’s gonna get worse before it gets better….

It’s cold out there. Temperature has been falling. Wanna trade?

Actually wouldn’t mind…sick as it sounds, Inlove a good blizzard. Something simmering in the crock pot while I am parked before the fire with a nice glass of vino and a good book. Ahhh… but I’m not altogether sure you would be jazzed by the weather here at the moment. Supposed to drop to 28 tonight! 🥶

that is such a cool shot of that house with the light on. I guess it’s views like that that make your morning stroll worth it. Hoepfully you had some hot chocolate when you got home…

It is Jim. And yes, I’m not a coffee drinker but my cup of Hot Chocolate with mini marshmallows was sweet!

a well-deserved reward!

What a scene, to find that house with its light THIS morning! What a welcoming to our intrepid photographer. Love the Snoopy picture–I texted my kids that I may wake up this morning to find that I’m living in an igloo!

Laughing. Igloo it is! Thank you Valerie!

Beauty of a shot. You are more brave than I. Of course, our feels like is -22℉ (-30℃). I am SO done with this unending polar vortex…

Thank you. It is brisk out there Dale!

Brisk! Uh huh… 🙂

Dale, thank you for the C degrees….. I’m shivering with you now!

It’s been a brutal winter. Again today. -17℃ but feels like -22℃. It’s finally going to warm up a bit this week.

As I think I wrote before (maybe not here), one of my two coldest experiences was ‘Tranaaa’ indeed. But I throw in one good thing in all this freezing cold stuff: When it’s cold and DRY, it’s half bad… is it cold and wet, it’s double hell. But believe me, I feel with you. I’m not made for heat but not for cold either! And now I sound like a ‘luke warm’ which are the worst…. zut alors!
Loading...
Zut alors indeed! I no longer enjoy either extreme… of course, as you mentioned the humid hot or cold is all the more désagréable! Ah well… C’est la vie, hein?

Great! We love real winters with cold clear nights and lots of snow. We miss all that here at the coast of Norfolk. Therefore we used to go to northern Scandinavia from Christmas to the end of February. This is where we come from. But this year travelling is too complicated so we stayed at home and hope for some snow.
Keep healthy and happy
