Long. But worthy. And esp. don’t miss the scenes @ 11m 33 sec.

I can't sleep…
Wow , that was truly spectacular!!
Wasn’t it though! Awesome!
Great Einstein-quote, although not even half the quotes attributed to Einstein he has neither said nor written.
Thanks for the YouTube-link.

Klaus; I think THAT quote is truly an Einstein quote. But of course most of all quotes are quoted wrongly…. or were not coined by the author thereof.
Thanks a lot, dear Kiki. Could you, please, be so kind and give me the source.
Thank you
Klausbernd 🙂
I am quite sure because I have visited several times the Einstein Museum in Bern, Switzerland and I should hope THEY knew which quotes to link to him… 😉 Can’t offer you more, sorry.
As an Einstein fan I sincerely hope that that is one of his.
Dear Kiki,
thank you very, very much.
Oh dear, we have to admit we visited the Einstein Museum in Bern as well, but we can’t remember.

This was amazing!!
Agree!
What an über-amazing film this was, and such fabulous story telling too. Thank you for sharing this pearl. Well worth my Sunday time!
So glad!
Watched from start to finish. Keys to awesome photography include, being at the right place at the right time, being prepared, patience ( remember patience?) and having sleeves. Time for some “bankers ink”, DK 😊
Smiling. Time for a lot of things Ray….and I’ve been waiting for patience to show up my entire laugh. Hope its coming soon.
magnificent is right!
Nature and Man at their finest….
yes, to both
An unexpected treat this morning in Laurel Canyon. Thanks!
So glad!
This was an amazing video, and I’m glad you posted it. I have to say though, like many videos nowadays, they added that stupid background noise. In this one I had to fight to shut it out of my head – a constant dundudundundundundundundun. I wanted to shut off my sound but didn’t want to miss what the guy was saying, so I suffered through that. But everything else about the video was really fantastic.
100% agree Anneli.
I thought maybe I was being a kook, but I’m glad you agree. It’s such a beautiful video. Too bad he had to put in that background noise. I would rather have heard just the sound of the birds and the waves and his commentary.
Anneli, I have written to Mark Smith and very softly complained about it too. He replied and I shall see if it changes anything in the future. I found the sound of the ocean already more than perfect. We should – with all due reference and politeness – point out this nonsense.
Thanks, Kiki. I didn’t want to mention it at first, but it’s such a beautiful video (if you don’t think about all those poor mullets getting eaten) that I found it a shame to have that annoying background noise. Thanks for taking up the cause.
I haven’t heard from him any more. But we can hope that in the future when he presents his stellar work, he’ll think of that remark and will note that the ambient ocean swells were music enough.
Let’s hope. It would be a shame to waste such photography skills.

Miracle indeed!! … Inspired by Albert Einstein’s quote: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
Awesome footage! Thanks for sharing. I’ve been to Florida many times; it’s what Quebecers do, wearing their tiny speedos. Truth is, I dislike that beach vacation scene, not to mention a week in Disney with kids that left me needing a week off to recover. Next time i go, if there is one, will be with my telephoto lens, as far away from the beached Canadians in their little bathing suits and I can manage. 😂
*as I can manage …
Sharon, I’m with you, 100%. We must be blood relatives.
Haha. We are both from the North country and we like it cold enough to cover up.
🙂
that was spectacular…
Wasn’t it though?!?!
👍
Unbelievable!! The magic in the mullet migration…and if everyone carried an A-9 in stead of an AK-47, maybe there would be far more random beauty to be captured ad sacred…I can’t get over the shots he was able to get…
Sp agree….
Wow, wow, wow! Just got around to watching this film. Absolutely incredible, but those surfers? Nuts! You wouldn’t find me with a big toe in the water during a feeding frenzy like that. 😳
Laughing. Or a mouth full of mullet.
Top stuff David we have Ospreys on the River here in Lossiemouth here for another month but you don’t see the scenes like this with fish avoiding sharks or indeed catching two different types – just mental 🙂
Laughing. It is just mental Scott. To see this show live, goose bumps!!!
OMG!!! Truly mesmerizing! Thanks for sharing.
Yes! Thank you!
