When I am teaching certain classes on topics that everyone thinks are so familiar, I love to find images such as these to bring human nature into the story. This is one of my favorites.
I have a photo of Andy posed identically to the Sphynx. The thing that amazed me most is the body proportions are really close to each other. The head on the Sphynx always looked smallish for the body and the front legs too long, yet the side by side photos of the two show otherwise.
