OMG, what a choice this is (again!)
I however was immediately captured by Dürer’s biography – you just let that ONE sentence melt in your mouth:
“Hoare writes with the license of the nonexpert; you can feel the delight he takes in being unbound by anything but his enthusiasms,”.
And you’re hooked….. or aren’t you?
Or the book, ready and unpublished since the 1940th (that’s NINETEENFORTIES, guys) on a black young man who hid in sewers for fear of losing his life for a murder he didn’t commit. What a statement this is:
