Monday Morning Wake-Up Call (Okay!)

“Okay!” said Dorothy out loud, stressing the exclamation. She retrieved the toolbox from under the kitchen sink and located nails and hammer. A change would do her good. She hung the mirror on the wall, horizontal-wise. She stepped back and noted with satisfaction that she could no longer see below her neck.

The average weight gain was 29 pounds (the median amount gained was 15 pounds). Millennials reported the largest average weight gain – 41 pounds.” (via Food & Heath Facts)

  1. I have diet-controlled a bad gall bladder since it caused a rapid 40lb weight drop 10 years ago (which turned me into a small Shar Pei — hence, this mirror-change idea works for such as me, too!), but honestly, if I could’ve eaten great things this pandemic year, I’d be in wildebeest territory right now, I PROMISE. I truly commend anyone who hasn’t gained 25+ lbs. Enjoy the fluff enough for two!

  3. I recall reading Christine Smallwood, quote – you shared the quote in one of your comments a few days back…I liked it then and I like it now…and I can happily report no weight gain, according to the doctor’s office 🙂 I need to lose if I could only get away from the sugar…/// and Darlene’s aunt I like her way of thinking…my fun way of turning back a few years is to stand with my India Yellow bathroom wall color and gaze into the mirror my hair looks darker, so luxurious & I instantly younger…it becomes drab when I don’t have the sunny yellow behind me…/// I mentioned to one of the red headed sister (who’s birthday is today & she is at the beach!) a few days back that I was considering dying my hair (I’ve been considering that since June of 2019 (I have the dye) ) I said if I dye it, it will be Red not just dark red highlight (I don’t know if I what to deal with hair maintenance) – she says NO you hair is so pretty…I said even the grow out Covid long hair w/no bangs? Yes!…so I will be foolish and believe what the bathroom mirror shows and what the hubby says you hair looks pretty and I won’t include what he said next…
